The Psalms speak of praising God with music.  A clear call to do this is in Psalm 33:1-5 ...

   Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

In the New Testament, we are called to do the same by Ephesians 5:19-20 ...

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

   We normally speak in a calm, unemotional way, but when our hearts are filled with love, joy and adoration, our spirits are quickened to SING!  As we were created in the likeness of God for the purpose of communing with Him, we are naturally drawn to sing of His loving-kindness, mercy and grace.

   At TLC, our music mission is to tap that natural, God-given, Bible-directed musical praise to draw into a closer and more fulfilling relationship with our Lord.  Many of our songs directly quote scripture and all are meant to worship our beloved Savior.  What an honor and JOY it is to worship our God from the depths of our souls in songs of praise.  Please come join us and experience His unending love for yourself.
